Now that would be nice to do! Practicing fatals! Yeah, I'd go for that.

what i want in a practice mode is the abilty to tell the computer what to do, DOA and tekken have this so you can practice how to counter certain moves and stituations. or just let the computer fight back with on a certian degree of diffcultly

1) Yes, I want a practice mode, and like abomb1987 said, it would be better if it was more interactive like other fighting games.
2) No, I would not like to be able to practice fatalities. A "fatality practice mode" would make it too easy for people to discover fatalities. They'd just sit there and systematically input button combos until something happened. I don't think MK purists would approve.

MKDA's konquest mode was pretty much a practice mode. so they should do somethin like that again but not make it the story mode, jus the practice mode.

I also really want to see a decent practice mode in MK:D. Whats the point of having the second character just standing there to use as a punching bag. You don't learn anything apart timing the combo's, and even that's not hard to do. The konquest mode i believe is to show you the moves of the fight styles and a bit of background (like MK:DA) but its not a practice mode at all.

In stead of practice mode they could call it:

"Sparring"

Then sub-menu that would have the options of picking 1 or 2 player sparring.

no, the konquest mode in DA showed u EVERY move on the moves list, which is exactly how practice modes in some games work (ex. virtua fighter 4,...). the only difference is that they added some info on the styles and characters in between each section. and what i did in that mode is exactly what i'd wanna do in a practice mode, that's why i never used the actual practice mode in MKDA.

I also agree that means of practice is good, but that will be in the konquest mode. The practice/sparring mode should be like most other fighting games that you can make the opponent attack/move/block, so that you can learn how to retaliate to particular attacks/movements.

But the only character you can practice with in Konquest now is Shujinko. While he'll be able to learn all moves (eventually) he won't know them at one time. A practice mode would let people learn characters other than Shujinko. tongue

I too think there should be a practice mode. I need that in order to survive 3-D fighting games. I remember playing Soul Calibur II for the first time and I would get my ass kicked because I did not know any of the moves and I did not know how to dodge and counter.

Practice Mode lets you enhance your skills to become a better warrior and I believe that should be incorporated in this game to a greater extent because of the Online feature. I would be very frustrated if I went online to have a good fight but I would have my ass whooped over and over and over again by people that are just too damn good for me. Practice mode should get you ready for people like that and it would let you hold your own against virtualy anybody.

I hope there is a Practice mode because I don't want it, I need it.
