Remember in MKII when Sub-Zero deep froze his opponent... What if every character had some sort of pre fatality that allowed them to alter their normal fatality or stage fatalities(dead pool while frozen)... idea for MK6? Might not work for all maybe just some characters... Scorpion sets them on fire, Sub-Zero deep freeze, Reptile cover them in acid, melting their skin off partially... etc

Uhh... the reason why Sub-Zero did the deep freeze, was because it was part of his fatality. It wasn't a 'pre-fatality.'

Actually is was a pre-fatality, because you did it before the actual fatality, and yes it was part of a fatality, but if you didn't pull the combination for the uppercut off, it would be a fatality, and if you uppercutted your opponent into the acid pool, they are still frozen, so its not exactly like the prefatality I was talking about, but it is a move you pull off before a fatalitiy... so there fore a pre-fatality
