I pre-ordered from EB with in-store pickup. I'd be very surprised if the game isn't in stores/shipping out to mail-order customers on the 4th at both Gamestop and EB.

I finished paying off my preorder at Gamestop yesterday. I noticed on the wall where their preorder games were it showed Deception arriving on 10/5. I asked the clerk if he knew that the game was being released on 10/4. He said they should have the game on 10/4 for everyone who perordered it. So, I sure hope they get it in on 10/4. If not I guess I can wait one more day for it.

I talk to eb games today and they said that the game does ship on Oct. 4 but will to get it on Oct.5 even if you pre-order it. I haven't ask Gamestop though!

Geez! What is the rush? I ordered it on Amazon, and I won't get it until probably the 20th or later. (Free shipping) I'll just rent the game in the meantime, or indulge myself in some Classic MK games on MAT2. When is that coming out again?

My question is: If the game ships October 4th, and Walmart is open 24hours...do you think they may have it in on the 4th? I know their main shipments are on Tuesdays, but a friend of mine works there, and he said they get shipments sometimes any days of the week.

MAT2 ships on 10/4 for XBOX and 10/11 for PS2 and Gamecube according to EBGames.com.

my question is..what the hell is the point of preordering?? is it so you are garunteed a copy of the game? or so you will get it before anyone else?

cause my friend preordered mkda (date was 11-22-02) and i got it at walmart on the 19th..3 days before his preorder was in..wtf???

i wanna preorder to get the special edition..but if it means i have to wait longer to play the game, fuck that.

If anything, pre-ordering will get you the game sooner than those that didn't. With DA, the ship date was moved up for EVERYONE, not just Wal-Mart. PS2 and XBOX came out on Monday and GC on Tuesday instead of the planned "Fatality Friday".

I live in Sweden so I had to ask my buddy in the US to pre-order it for me. I ordered it from EBgames. Even if I have to wait a little longer Scorpion's cover is just to pimp to dismiss :)
