i had the exactly same problem ok heres what you do...go to divx.com and download the free one...thats what someone at gamespot said to do and it worked when i did it...should work form there

Or if ur using Mac, Download a newer version of Windows Media Player... V. 9.0 should do it

If that still doesn't work, try opening with another app like RealOne player. That's how I got it to work for me.

If you have the Divx codec it works fine in Media player and media player classic.. it also works in Quicktime but with no sound.

Divx can be very tempramental.

divx sucks. wmp sucks. just use videolan player. free and does not use lame shit like codecs. will play most any video file with zero issues.
