You have never watched all Ed Boon interviews that's why you are saying this.According too Ed Boon interviews,mk looks like it's not even close too an end,in every interview they always say mk will be here for many years too come what does that means?

no way mk is coming to an end.

They wont want to dissappoint there fans. they'll be more.

Even in the mkda history video he says, "the future of mortal kombat? we'll just have to take it as it comes"!.

Thats my opinion.

I think it is ironic what LK9T9 has pointed out, but I agree w/ everyone else. I highly doubt MK is coming to a close. Even though some people didn't like MKDA that much and can point out all its flaws, because of it MK is making a huge comeback in the world. Because of MKDA, obviously MKD is now being made, and MK3 the movie. So I also think the series of MK is far from over, as new storylines will always try to beat the previous.

If Boon decides to end MK, it better come in MK8 or MK9, or MK7 if it manages to tie up all the ends of all the rivalries and storylines, otherwise, I'd like to see MK have a great run in 3D, and I doubt Boon would end it after just 2 outings.
If MK: Deception makes money, then there will be an MK7.

If MK: Deception loses money, then there will not be an MK7.

It's a simple reality.

Its a given that MKD is gonna sell a shitload of copies, especially with the inclusion of online play this time around. Plus theyre already throwing around ideas for MK7 according to a recent interview.

You know the tag team combat we saw in trilogy theres a Boon interview at MKTemple and it says they're gonna bring this back for Mk7 and that there will be more u can do with ur guy in konquest. So I believe if this game doesn't seel good which thats not gonna happen it'll end in MK7 Hell they might have another triology in MK7 just because MK4 wasn't it like Mk1 then DA was like MK2 or DA was like MK1 I forget but people on the forums were saying this. So there might be another trilogy that might end MK that or they go 3 more games taking it to MK9 Idk.

Just my opinion

We'll see how the story unfolds in MKD first.

The thought of MK ending is a little depressing. I couldn't imagine seeing every bad guy get killed, Scorpion reuniting with his family, and the others going their separate ways. I hope it never happens.
