You know i can careless, i got to give it to Ed Boon and the MK team, i believe they did a decent job. The characters, graphics, story were all good!
I hope they decide to continue with the MK Franchise and are able to CAPITALIZE more on the next gen systems... "Personally i hope they retell the MK Franchise on the next gen... and it could be Darker, grittier, bloodier and more violent then ever. they have the opportunity!"

From what I've heard, the gameplay is decent enough...though lacking in certain aesthetics.

Having seen the story-mode on youtube, I think it's pretty dumb and I'm especially unhappy my favorite character was pretty much pissed on.

Maybe someday we'll get to finally see a Mortal Kombat where story and gameplay can BOTH be good and not one over the other.

I have to agree. It is a very awsome game. As usual it did not please everyone for some reason or another. As for Kitana she may have been screwed a tad in story mode but she is a fucking god to fight with when you master her. Kitana,Sonya,and Scorpion are my favs as of now. Also be happy she was included period. My absolute favorite is Cage and he is not even in the game.

Let's put it this way: the story is better than the last one. I actually found the MK side of the story to be a little more stupid than the DC side.

Gameplay is great though.
