"You see, I face a whole new Monster!! I face a man, who represents, the Nintendo Entertainment System..."

Sorry about the rant guys I just hate that there seems to be no honor in gaming anymore.

Oh yeah, and all MKO members who will be playing MKD with PS2 Online, heed my warning; if I catch ANY one of you cheating online with this game, you will be exposed via these forums! In fact, ANYONE caught doing this will be exposed here, whether they are an MKO member or not, and all MKO members will be on alert for those people! I will have their PS2 Online names listed and posted on the MKD forum on one thread for all to see, and if that falls to like, the fourth page of the forum and doesn't get stickied, then I'll repost the thread, same list, with updates included if need be.

For the most in-depth, in-detail, Mortal Kombat lore analysis vids, there's only one source:
online cheaters will be hunted down and mutilated!!!

Internet is serious business.

| MobiusakaBorat Wrote: Umm, there is no way to cheat. In xbox, you have an OS running, therefore it allows you to do "things" How in the world would someone hack ps2 online? There is nothing to hack or hack with... |
It's not hacking, but I have seen numerous people use a codemaster or gameshark on numerous games as well as glitch and etc etc.I just don't do ps2 online anymore. There are too many buggy issues it has.Xbox please.

Yeah, that's the basics of what you'll see. Infinite life and combo breakers will be the big ones. Probably more outrageous effects as time progresses and more codes are found. Fatality at anytime. Things like that.
If you're playing a tournament and the cheater ruins it and they can't be kicked or disqualified by the host then what? He needs to start a new tourney? What a pain. Plus it messes things up beyond that. Even in casual play when you're playing against someone who isn't losing any life so you just unplug right? Wrong. Remember all those past discussions about how people will unplug just to avoid losing? Remember how people said that Midway found a way to fight that by counting disconnects as losses? So your record may read 200-150 when in fact half of those 150 losses were because you disconnected from or genuinely lost to cheaters. Sony doesn't care since they give designers the reigns. Unless somehow Midway has an online police force then expect to have a worse record than you should. The record thing probably isn't a big issue but to some people who are actually good but their record says otherwise may be a little irritated.

Otherwise, I had no idea you could use a gameshark while playing online... That's insane, and just wrong!

Cheaters and cheating ruin the game, the fun, and the people.
I understand you trying to help stop cheaters, but..if users log on with different usernames..unless mk:d doesn't support it..users will enter with many different usernames..and it will be hard to track who is who..and we'll never know exactly who the cheaters would be.
