Does anyone know exactly how combos in Puzzle Fighter are generated? It seems that x2 combos don't just multiply the two amounts by two; it seems to always be more than x2. It almost seems random as to how many blocks will drop on your opponent's side. Any ideas as to how the x2, and x3 combos work and/or how they are calculated?
Simple. It depends on what pieces you got on your side. It usually happens when you have a breaker piece that you haven't used yet. If a bomb or another breaker piece gets dropped, other pieces may get moved around. If in the event that after the use of a bomb or a breaker piece, a piece gets moved (well, if it drops really) and touches the breaker piece that wasn't used (if it was the same color), it'll break as well, causing a 2x combo. Now if there was another breaker piece that wasn't used and it gets touched with a piece of the same color AFTER both those things happen, it'll be a 3x combo.
