I'm sure Quan Chi will affect the story line, but I doubt he's playable.

I hope not. Quan Chi is too new of a character and has way too much potential still to die out just like that. Hes now a fan favorite for many reasons. That and with Boon and Co. saying there will be beyond 24 characters, I have hopes he will return hopefully playable. Even if he does "die" he will logically return to the Netherealm with Scorpion somehow after his ass all over again, and the story would get repetitive and boring as hell, so what good will that do to further and deepen the storyline?

There is always the possiblity of the whole Quan/Drahmin fusion. That is what I think happened to Drahmin when they both fell into Quan's little magic dome in Drahmin's FMV.

I don't know if that info is 100% accurate; I think some of the info in the article in which that appeared was stated by Midway to be false. So I'd take that info as rumor rather than confirmed at this point.

actaully mavado isnt back but kabal is.

Kira could be attemping to kill kabal cause he broke the code of the black dragon.

same with scorpion, if u were thinking DUH,and if u werent dumb, baraka and scorpion will obviously have a feud, mileena is now netrual like scorpion is.

jax could be after kira thats why he is back, while kabal might be attcked by the black dragon member or maybe she is trying to get kabal to become black dragon again.

the story is unpredictable, but certain characters DO not have to come back to finish a story, like u said quan chi. there are always obstacles that get in peoples way like say baraka is in the way of scorpion now.


either way quan chi is in the intro 1, and it isnt yet said if he will be in intro 2.

but Boon found out that raiden dying in the beginning got leaked, so he either changed that idea altogether or it tryin to deny and make it seem like that isnt gonna happen nomore so u people can be surprized still. but either way if raiden dies or not, it is rumored that he will die by the DA, one being quan chi for the most part, plus the amulet will be shown and how the DK comes back to power.

but why are they not playable??? maybe the DA sit this one out for some reason, i just wanna know the story for why they arent playable.

shang tsungs first fighting style, with quan chi's escrima fighting style, and ima give him shang tsungs str8 sword to make him unbeatable, so i am fine with that.

quan chi should be in the game....hes 1 of the best "new" fighters that the mk team made up.. besides quan still has his amulet hes powerful! u know that hes gonna challenge the dragon king for power....he along w/ characters like kitana and raiden r involed in alot of stories in the game.. if hes not 1 of the starting 24 then he'll be a secret 1 kinda like a shadow in the back ground watching all his people do his dirty work... so he wont have a big part in the main chracters story.....

I didn't know that Mileena is out to kill him and that Baraka protects him. I hope Quan Chi does come back. And by the end of the events Deception I hope someone kills him. He's got too many enemies that want his scalp
