Sorry if this was addressed before. In the Krypt you can unlock several concept art and such regarding something called Quan Chi's realm which looks somewhat like a bunch of towers in the clouds connected by rope ladders (if I remember correctly). At first when I was by the Kochal portal, I thought I saw similar towers in the distance in the middle of the lava lake, and thought maybe the portal lead to some kind of secret mini realm. Anyways, I just wonder why concept art for Quan Chi's realm would be in the Krypt if it wasn't part of Konquest. Or was it part of Sub-Zero Mythologies?

Well yeah I know he's from the *spoiler*, but why would you have concept art for something that's not in the game? Sure the early versions of Ermac aren't in the game, but Ermac himself is. Also, Quan Chi can be found and fought in the *spoiler*. I haven't seen any evidence for it, but I think it could be possible that his realm is a secret stage.

The Koncept art is just ideas for things. Some showed up. Some didn't. That Sareena render looks pretty cool. It would be sweet if you would be able to play as her.

Umm Krypt OQ is the quan chi arena, so its not a secret or nothing. I found it somewhere in orderrealm just by randomly going in houses, i went in ever house along the perimeter thats on the grass/small river area and it was in there somewhere, but mark my words, some house in orderrealm has the key for OQ which is quan chi's realm.

The whole concepts idea is to show the production cycle of the game. You see some ideas that were used, some that were altered and used, and some that were discarded completely. We also have concepts of something that I believe was called the ice chamber, though I'm not entirely certain. I remember seeing it in magazines. it had three levels, and below the second was the ice worm that ate you. To the best of my knowledge, this level does not appear in MK:D. It was thrown out in the conceptual stage of it's development. Sure, like Dairou (who's concepts appeared in MK:DA but were not used until the sequel) it could return in the following game in realized final form, as another concept picture suggests, but then again, maybe it won't.
There are also concepts of Noob, Havik, and others, to show where the MK team started and where they ended up. Quan Chi's realm was probably intended to be one of the main realms, but perhaps it got sacked when they decided to go with the themes of order and chaos, edenia and outworld, earth and neather. Just because there are pictures, doesn't mean it'll come to fruition. Otherwise, we would've been playing as Zebron in either MK:DA or MK:D. Some ideas get the axe, and the MK team is cool enough to show the fans what didn't make it into the game. Of course, I could be wrong, and Quan Chi's realm is in the game, but I'm just saying that there's absolutely no real reason to believe it's in there. The pictures don't mean anything.

Yeah, I agree, it's probably nothing. And I didn't mean Quan Chi's palace arena, I meant the concept art for Quan Chi's realm. Just wondering about the possibility of it being part of Konquest.

Quan chi's realm was thrown out because it seems like it was a very linear konquest mode originally designed (like MK"DA's konquest) They used some of the elements you see in the the quan chi's realm concept sketches in the order realm. you wont see quan chi's realm as an extra bonus stage in konquest. it was just early design ideas.
