question about Baraka...

i never played mkgold bekuz i dont own a dreamcast. what was his weapon? did his claws remain extracted thoughout the fight even when he had a weapon?

the trailor for deception shows him fighting mileena and after he gets kicked thru a wall, he extracts his claws. but all the screenshots with baraka show his claws out. do u think that his claws will be inside his arms for his 2 fighting stances and for his weapon stance he extracts his claws and that IS his weapon?

Your making an assumption. For all we know Baraka is in his weapon stance in all of those pics! So he may retract them for his other styles. It'd be hard to connect with a punch with those blades sticking out. He'd impale the opponent!

well do u know how they did it on mkG ? i didnt play that one. and drahmin used his iron club in his other fighting stances besides his weapon stance.

i just think it would be kool to extract them like wolverine style when u switch stances.

although i never played it because i to dont own a dreamcast either i think he will use his blades as his weapon stance and maybe in the other 2 when you do a combo he will use them in it. im not sure though

I'm thinking his weapon will be his blades. His blades should only be extracted when he's in his weapon fighting style. It shouldnt be like Drahmin's club, I thought Drahmin was lame in MK:DA.

hmmmm i guess nobody played MKgold haha. either that or they just like leaving playstation kids in the dark sad i hope he only extracts his blades as his weapon. it would look too cheezy if he had his blades out plus held some kinda sword.

To be honest I never played MKGold but I know for a fact that Baraka did not use his arm blades for is weapon he had a separate weapon and only used his arm blades for special moves such as those in MK2.

Baraka's blades weren't his weapon in MKG. He had some ridiculous looking caveman axe.

And i'm more than certain that his weapon stance in Deception is his extracted blades. If that's not the case, it would be pretty stupid.

I have a dreamcast and Mk:G. And no he doesnt use his blades in gold he uses 1 of those weapons that Nitara has. Mk:G was kinda lame ecause Mileena used a sword(Not Sais) and Kitana used a bommerang(Not her fans).

if its the case where his blades are his weapon, i surely hope they aren't extracted for his other 2 fighting stances, the wolverine affect would be so freakin tight. i hate baraka, but with his new look and if thats how he handles, he would probably be one of my new favs
