From what I've heard so far, the only thing you can customize about the character is the name and the fighting styles he uses.If anyone has something to add to this feel free to.

You start out as a 13 year old boy monk. You have no choice of gender, race, job, etc. The boy grows up and learns different fighting techniques depending on who you meet and train under. The name may or may not be changeable, no info on that yet. *sigh* Sad isn't it.

id love it if u cud change gender/clothes/backround.. and if it wud be online! like trading ur own made up character...maybe put it in arcade mode! oooo how fun!

We're hoping that in MK7 that a true create-a-character option will show up. One in which you can choose race, gender, etc. And earn fighting techniques, special moves, and accessories. Only Midway can decide.

If this happens then MK is no longer MK.

Boon said in a interview that at the end of Konquest you can change your name.

i know theirs no a create-a-character but i think you should be able to at least customize your clothing i.e. have a ninja mask or a raiden hat ect.
