Question about one of the stages and its death trap

alright... sorry if this has been asked already. so on the yin yang beach stage, we see the death trap is the little nemo's eating the opponent. but what about the huge snakes? do they bite your head off like in the puzzle mode? or is that strictly puzzle mode?

At this point it seems like just puzzle mode, although there does seem to be another stage (the one with the huge grinder and the chomping dragon head) that has two deathtraps.

They may not be the same stage, but they look very similar if they're not.

That stage looks to have the flame fatality too.

just a question but will every stage have it's background fatality? Maybe netherbelly..?
