Question About Sub-Zeros Ending (MK 2 Version) - **Spoilers**
I beat Arcade mode last night with my first two people; Noob-Smoke and Sub-Zero (technicaly I guess that's three people).
Needless to say that Noob's was awesome! I've been waiting for this moment since UMK 3!
So, since Sub-Zero makes an appearance in Noob - Smoke's ending I figured that Sub's ending would tell the other side of the story.
If you already have Sub's ending you'll know that it doesn't. As a matter of fact the only thing that it reveals is that his new armor "guides him."
My questions is this:
Hotaru's bio says that he targeted Sub-Zero because he vanquished an entire militia of Tarkatan warriors. Kenshi's bio also eludes to this. This is also what we see in Sub's ending in the Living Forest.
If you'll notice that his ending states that the Tarkatan attack happened while he was on his way to meet Raiden and the others at the rendezvous point. Wouldn't that suggest that what we see in his ending takes place before the assault on the Deadly Alliance? Does that mean we don't know what happens to him after the Dragon King is defeated?

Remember that not all the Mk endings happen or are linked together.
Sometimes they are just what if, sometimes only some parts of them happen, and sometimes, they are not even cannon at all.
While Noob-Smokes have a very cool ending, it could had never happened. Or maybe, it could happen in MK7 but only part of it (example: Sub-Zero doesnt die).
Not all of those endings are linked together. Thats why certain things are not mentioned in endings like the one of Kenshi and Hotaru.

Yeah I see what your saying.
For example: I totally believe that Noob-Saibot is the corrupt soul of the original Sub-Zero and that's the way the future story lines will go.
However I can almost guarantee that Sub-Zero (MK2 version) did not die. There's never been an MK game without either Sub-Zero or Scorpion (or both).
What I'm saying is that Sub's ending seems to give us the details of what happened leading up to the events of Deception rather than telling us what happens to Sub after the Dragon King is defeated.

he got the armor after Deadly Alliance and he is wearing the armor in the Deception ending. Raiden probably helped to fight against the Dragon King even if he was a bit pissed off. he is the leader and guide of the Earthrealm warriors so he could of made a new rendezvous point since all the warriors were seperated. he could of been on his way there then got ambushed by the Tarkatan warriors.

It just says that Sub-Zero will meet with the other warriors at the rendezvous point. I think they're talking about Ermac and him freeing the other prisoners. I highly doubt they're talking about something for the MKDA time line, even though Raiden's name is mentioned.
It just doesn't seem to fit anyone where else other than what was said in the earlier bio's. It gives no mention to Onaga or any of the events after the death of the Deadly Alliance.
Could the mention of his armor guiding him allude to something more important in MK 7? Perhaps this is why they decided to go this route with his ending. Maybe the're saving his story for his bio in the next game.

(Spoiler)
I personally think that that Sub's ends just after Hotaru's and that Noob's is partly true(he beats his brother, leaving for dead, but doesn't kills him, so Sub2 tries to bring his brother back from his state, while he gets chased by the Dk, who wants his armour back(look at Sindel's ending))
