From what I've heard, you will be able to use the headset, but don't hold me to that.

Xbox live will probably have more features than PS2 will.

Yeah I see what your saying. But how cool would it be for you if someone else was whooping your ass and talking shit on the head set? I played both versions at E3. The graphics were really close, How ever I liked how smooth the players looked on the X-box. Don't get me wrong i will get the PS2 game as well. I felt like I was not in control useing the PS2 controller. I think I am just more pulled toward the X-box. Thank the Lord in heaven I don't have to use the gamecube controller. I am sure there is alot of people that feel like the PS2 is better than the x-box and vice versa. That's why I get them both so I don't have to be a fan boy for one system. What ever game system you get it for will rock. Laters DSB

Well I dont own an xbox yet so thats why i was curious. Better graphics, talk shit on a headset, more online features, why not? The only problem is when it comes to a controller, I prefer the ps2 feel. Im gettin the raiden box fsho. I wouldnt mind gettin shit talked if i got my ass whooped :p but hey, if i do (and im sure i will) it will only improve my game, and I wont call it quits without a rematch. Im old skool like that.

Headset compatibility has been officially comfirmed for XBox and PS2. I can't tell you where, cuz I forget, but I'm 100& sure it was confirmed (by a reliable source, not rumors).

Why would you spend between $100 and $120 (assuming you get the special editions) for the exact same game just to prove you aren't a fanboy? That seems to be going a little too far to prove that point. They're the same game on both systems, I would think the debate would come down to which controller you prefer. Just seems like a waste of money to me, but hey, it's your cash, just something I'm curious about.

I'm in the same predicament, Not sure which one to get myself, I've had a xbox live account before so, no need to buy headset, but on ther other hand ps2 online is free. Probably wont know until I go to a store to buy

$100 may not be alot of money to that guy.. who knows.. I have already bought both versions of the game. Why, Because i dont want to be a fan boy like the other guy said??? no. Some of us on here plan on buying both versions if we have the means to, simply so we can play everyone. If you only buy the ps2 version, or only the xbox version, you are limiting yourselft to half the competition.

That makes sense. Not a bad reason. I wouldn't mind having both versions for that reason.

since its already been said and confirmed that the headset will be usable for both xbox and ps2 that leaves me in a predicament because i like the xbox's live service (if you average out the price of the 50 start up fee its around 6 bucks a month) becuase it lets you keep buddies right at hand and i can tell when people are on without even signing on and searching that helps out a lot, but unfortunetly some good friends of mine in town here don't have xboxes so looks like im either buying both or making a decision soon enough to get my preorder special editions.
