Question concerning konquest mode

i havent been following the game this closely since i got my job, but since ive been layed off, ive pre ordered MKD, i heard that you will go through konquest as some guy *cant remember name*i also heard you can customize him, please tell me this is so, i have always wanted to make my on fighter, so is this true or not?

Please express your help topic cleary rather than making a vague statement. ~Crow~

All we know so far is that you can customize his three styles. You may be able to customize special moves as well and possibly Fatalities (though this is the most doubtful). You can't alter his appearance in any way. And his name is Shujinko.

In Konquest mode you play as Shujinko, following the events of his life up to him being in Deception's main mode as an old man.

You can customise his fighting styles and specials, that's about it, his story, name and looks won't change because you're playing as a character, not creating one.

well, its better than nothing i guess, i was reading in game informer that you will see every character that was in every mk through konquest.i wonder how they plan to do that.

Well, given that Shujinko starts out as a 13 year old boy and ends up a 60 year old man at MKDs time, he will be old enough to meet everyone who's ever been in MK before they died or whatever it is Stryker's doing now. There are six realms to explore where you'll be able to meet everyone. I'm personally looking forward to giving Shinnok a wedgie in the Netherrealm.

The whole 13 year old thing has been around since Konquest was officially unveiled at E3. You start out 13 and spend the next 47 years learning from all the MK characters, and unlocking secrets.
Then when you complete Konquest mode, you unlock Shujinko on the select screen as a 60 year old man with the moveset you've given him.

Shujinko's alignment is Good. I doubt that's subject to change, since in his bio the Dragon King is listed as his foe. Mind you, so is Scorpion.
