I didn't main him; I usually "main" characters in more competitive games only. I just tried all the characters in MK:A and that was basically it.

I played Arma a lot, but hardly ever played as Meat.

Meat as a character idea kinda felt lame. The biggest redeeming features he had for me were the amusing special moves and the cleavers. they ensured i actually bothered to play as him once in a while.

I mained Sareena, Kabal, Liu Kang, Dairou, Cage, Stryker, Mavado, and Noob in that game. I currently use those characters ^ and a few others. I played Meat briefly and he was fun. I need to buy that game back.. Fond memories.
