Sorry it's just fatality related.
I have xbox.
The F,B,D,F,2 (close) fatality is giving me grief. To those that use this fatality regularly please give me specific distances. Is it close as in touching or is it between touching and sweep. How about the timing of the presses also.
I can pretty much do every fatality fairly easilly except this one, which happens to be one of the best in the whole game.
The 2 at the end is meant to be Y isn't it? I have read Y in some guides and A in others.
Cheers.

F,B,D,F,Y (this is close, meaning right next to the opponent touching them)

Thanx for the answer mate. I know the inputting of the buttons must be very precise too as I have done as you say dozens of times and it hasn't activated.
Do you hit them really fast or just steady and smoothly. Oh and before anyone else asks yes I get into fatality stance and yes I have checked that blood is on etc.

You input it just as fast as you would with a combo.

Really, KK? That's not even close to how I do Subby's fatality...
I get as close as possible and then take a single step back. When inputting the f,b,d,f,1 I make sure to do it slow and even, and it works pretty much every time. I find when I input as fast as a dial-a-combo is when it DOESN'T work.
