movie has nothing to do w/ the game. If u look in the mk4 comic book (that the Mk team made) she was good, but she still had the banshee look...

Sindel is not under Kahns control. Edenia is now seperate from Outworld. Check the MK4 storyline. Sindel was Queen of Edenia (see Tanya's bio) and it was Sindel that let Shinnok and Quan Chi through the portal into Edenia, but she didn't know. It never said what actually happened to her afterwards.

I just can't understand that Sindel would look that mean and nasty and evil and Elvira-esque if she was a nice little queen. And her daughter is hot. I fugured that the look from MK3 was due to the control she had been placed under. ANd I never thought about is but if Kitana in 10K years old then how old it Sindel??? Hmmmm.

Well, Sindel is obviously older than Kitana, however, she has been dead for over 10,000 years so she didn't age at all.
I like the idea of Sindel looking like a crazy evil witch but being a good guy. I think that's pretty cool.

I always thought of her as some kind of sorceress, and that would explain why she looks all scary. I agree with XiahouDun84, though. It's cool that she looks kind of evil, but is actually one of the main characters fighting for "the good side".

Or maybe (just thought of this) she's not completely Edenian. Maybe she's half demon or something.

Sindel just normally looks that way. She is after all, a magic wielder, so I think her looks suits her.

Sindel is alot older then Kitana. Sindel was dead for Kitana's whole life nearly, plus Sindel had her own life for sometime I assume. So you could say Sindel is anywhere from 30k to 100k.

We should'nt judge her by her apperence. Not nice.Though it'd be cool to see her in that chinese looking thing as she appeard in her mk3 ending.
