Question: Platform specific code?

Ed boon supposedly said that one of the conformations of mortal kombat 6 is that this game will have more platform specific code. Anybody knows what that means?

probably enhanced graphics and sound for the xbox and gamecube. anything ps2 can do, they can do better. look at doa2 for ps2. then look at doa2 for the xbox (for doa online). it will be like that. i wouldn't count on extra characters or anything though for the xbox or gamecube. needless to say, xbox all the way grin.

xbox owns all and xbox 2 will own ps3.
