Since our beloved shokan died during the last tournament, Will we see another shokan in mk:Dec ? Maybe the return of Sheeva to take revenge for the death of goro, maybe even kintaro ? or maybe another race will emmerge ?

And since Baraka will return (if the pic is true), will MK6 be a war of outworld race ??? (vampires, reptile, nomads "Baraka" , shokan centaurs)

supposedly, he is dead...Noob killed him, but he has died before and came back... however... I would like to see Kintaro! If he is a plaable that would be THE BEST

I am sad as well over the death of Goro, but I hope MK6 brings forth a new Shakon person. I hope it is Sheeva if any Skakon people. I know that MK: DA Konquest said she died in the hands of Kahn , but I hope she somehow comes into play again in MK6.

well sheeva is dead..no argument there. she didn't die in an ending, so it did happen.

as for goro, he may be alive. remeber not all endings are carried over

But Kano and Kitana's Konquest said Goro was dead, and if Konquest was enough for us to believe Sheeva's dead, it's enough for Goro, too.

I hope they bring in a new Shokan in MK6, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

i stand corrected than. i haven't played mkda in a long time(ps2 is busted) all i remeber was goro's funeral in kitana's ending.

but if goro died in konquest then he is dead

I'd like to see a Shokan. They are part of MKs classic legacy an should be in the game. Kitana is their allie, so they should be fighting alongside her. Also, with Noob apparently killing Goro, someone amongst his people is going to want revenge. As boring as a revenge storyline would be, it'd be an excuse to have a Shokan. If they could expand the story to have some form of originality, then it'd be a welcome idea to have another Shokan.

On the Mortal Kombat 1 comic goro was killed and then his dad or whatever sent kintaro to avenge his dead. So maybe now that he died in MKDA kintaro will return.

That was the MK2 comic, and it never exactly made it obvious that Goro was dead, he was just presumed dead. Cage, Sonya, and Kano were fighting him, when the island exploded. I think there's a series of comics about Goro that explain what happened after that.

I know the drawing isn't that good, , maybe I'll try to improve on it sometime and repost it. Anyway, I also posted his story there, and it has more depth than just "Noob killed my dad, now I'm gonna kill him," but it does involve revenge. Balgor, although young for a Shokan, was learning his dad's trade of war and politics. He makes a bad decision that ends up allowing the Dragon King to enter Earthrealm; Noob was the one who ruined the plan so now Balgor has 2 reasons to go after Noob. I think the premise of Goro's son coming into play is a little cheesy/predictable, but no else's son has replaced a character(brothers maybe), but it might be cool to see a shokan as a playable character w/ fatalities and all(excluding sheeva that hasn't happened) preferably a male shokan, seeing as they are bigger and would be strong, but slow... or maybe a Centaurian/Shokan hybrid.... ooooo... or not
