This has already been said and noticed. If the blast was coming from within, it is interesting that his clothes weren't completely incinerated. The charred appearance is great and it's a nice change to Raiden.

I would have to say that with the confirmation of Raiden(Which looks awesome), my MKD expectation is complete. Now everything else that will be confirmed is more pieces of cake for the icing.

I swear i saw his cape full at on point and then it was torn. Maybe it tears apart with taking damage. Which is a really good idea.

As for my reason i am happy with MKD is there are enough women Kombatants now. Sonya is still a possibilty of a hidden or yet unconfirmed CHAR. I would rather see the new and returning women over Sonya. Nothing against her, just that there are more women to chose from now so she has dropped from the JIGGLE list.

And the blast created a "red eyes" effect like in photography.
