I assume you're talking about Raiden. He's a god and cannot be killed indefinitely. His energies reformed after his explosive death and that was how we got our thunder god back. It tells you in his bio.

Didnt Raiden revoke his god status for defend the earth cause it was outta content for the gods to interfere? Thus not making him a god for the time being.
Only when Shao Kahn invaded Earthrealm via Sindels aid, being her king.
Becouse Shao Kahn stepped through the portals without a Mortal Kombat
win, and to righfully reclaim his queen, the Gods could not do anything.
Shao kahn literaly had the right to invade Earth, thus making Raiden unable to compete as a god. When Shinnok launched the attack and later the Deadly Alliance killed Liu Kang, Raiden had every right to interfere as a god, but only if he retconned his elderhood. Elder may not interfere, while juvenile gods may do so.

It was an excellent FMV, but I was rather annoyed that Shang Tsung lost so easily to Quan Chi.
Tsung did most of the work against Raiden...Quan Chi stood back like a little bitch and conserved his strength :D

lol, little bitch
So then, what was going through Raidens head when he decided to go at it alone? Cause he had no choice, or because the other earthrealm champs/Fighter peoples werent anywhere to be found, IE Sub-Zero, was he like stuck in the outworld or something? Why wasnt he there doing his part to help, same goes for your heros Jax and Sonya.
