Okay let me explain:Neither of them are false.In order to understand them you must take them both into play.It "says" that Rains father was killed and he was smuggled away to the realm of Edenia,and Shao Kahn made him his general.

But,in mka it says that Rain's father was Argus.......So,this would make him half-god.

So you have to think here:Argus must have been the general that was thought to be killed,but he must have faked his death.


So Argus wasn't with Delia at the time,because Rain is only Half-god.Just think about it.......... Click Here

Well, you could actually piece them together.

You could say that Argus had Rain and to hide his identity - he gave him to an Edenian general to raise as his son....and that general was the only father Rain ever knew.

As for Kitana telling Rain (IF it happened, anyway) - she just got half the story.

If you read Rain's bio, you'll find out that Argus, his birth father, had abandoned him, therefore reavling that the general was Rain's foster parent.
