I like both of them. If i had to choose only 1, then if would be Ermac. He was just better overall to me. I would like to see Rain return to MK Deception as well.

Ermac in MK1 was a glitch of Scorpion.

Ermac in UMK3/MKT- He is an enigma to all who meet him. He is in reality, created by Shao Kahn from the souls of a legion of fallen outworld warriors who are forced to serve Shao Kahn.

In MK:DA, Kenshi freed Ermac from Shao Kahn's control.

ermac is so much better but scorpion kicks all their asses

I agree noob saibot is better then both of them IMO.
But out of those two ninja's I would have to pick Ermac. Same reason as Temp I suppose, I perfer the color red over purple.

I prefer Rain, just for his special moves. The lighting bolt from the sky was great and freaked anyone out who never saw it before. Note: How come a ninja is able to pull off this move in a fight and not the God of Thunder, Raiden?

Rain was easier to win with. I could repeat his levitation fireball-roundhouse pattern for days. Ermac was more fun to play with, but his decap fatality sucked. Maybe if he did it telekinetically...(listening Midway?) Personally, Rain and Ermac are dead even.
