You really need to tone it down Jack, you're creating tons of threads and practically all of them are clones of other threads.

Rain I never played with him,but being in konquest should be enough for someone.Don't worry anyway Ed Boon know all our favorites and he added them Rain will be in decetion.

Well its nice to see alot of interest in rain, and i hope he comes back as a playable charecter and not just in konquest.

Never really was a fan of Rain. I just thought he was a so-so character. Nothing about him appealed to me. His moves were cool like the roundhouse. I would like to know more about him, maybe then he would interest me more.But, alot of my favorite characters have already been confirmed so it doesn't matter who comes back. As long as they have something to do with the storyline.

I see your point ,i like to rain have more story, then he did in trilogy, and i think if they bring him back as a playable character he will.

I don't really get a chance to post anymore but there's a trend on this board that is starting to annoy me. Everytime someone mentions that they want their favorite character to be in Deception, without fail, someone rips them a new asshole. I'll admit I was a little harsh on Smoke fans but it never got close to the point where I was telling people to shut up and how stupid they were. And before everyone starts defending themselves...this thread isn't the best example of what I'm talking about, I already know.

Also, why do you people keep saying "well, I don't want him in the game because his story sucks." Ummm, ok, as if they aren't going to give him a new or updated story? I remember it was Nightwolf who had a subpar story in MK3 but it seems like lots of people wanted him back. Do you really think that for the character story of, for example, Ermac that they are just going to say "Hey guys, ERMAC is BACK, JACK! Kenshi look out...oh, yea, you can't, sucks for you! HAHA"? No, but you won't find out until the release of the game.

For my sanity, if nothing else, just like how people keep saying who their favorites are going to be before they have even played the game, please quit saying that you don't want someone in the game because their story sucks...when you don't even know what their story is going to be.

Well, I thought Rain was Ok. I just got bored with the big amount of ninjas that they seemed so un-original. The once popular ninjas I liked eventually became boring and stale.

I think Rain could return, he has potential, but not for MkD, but in Mk7. There are already enough ninjas in this game.

I loved Rain, he was one of my favorite characters of Mortal Kombat, I think he's got a good chance on coming out on Deception, he's been away for far too long. Does anyone know if he's been confirmed for Deception??

What potential? He is dead, according to his ending. Lets keep it that way. Ed Boon said nothing about Rain being playable in MK:D. All that was said is that he is in Konquest.

Wat u mean rain was awesome and don't start the whole leave him dead becuz then they should leave the others dead. Like Lui,scorpion,etc... becuz if one has to be dead the rest should too. But this is MK u can be resurected lol. I hope he's back I just bought MKT today becuz I haven't played it forever and checked Rain out some more his moves and fatalities are awesome lol but why a elephant for the animality lol. So I saw him having a lot of potential. Also don;t start on the too many ninja thing becuz ermac ended up the same way him and rain were both at the same time.

What I mean is, Rain sucked. Simple as that. I'm tired of these characters getting revived, it needs to stop. Perfect characters to do it is for Sheeva and Rain. Reviving Lui Kang(if its true) as a zombie or whatever was stupid. As much as I want Scorpion dead, it will never happen. Ed Boon is attached to him and as long as he is making MK, Scorpion will be in Mk.

Although Rain does have potential, I don't think I could ever stop hating him.

This guy knows what he's talking about. I don't know what you people see in Rain. His moves were mediocre at best, his story was ridiculous, and his ending resulted in a suicide attack. The man is dead. Let him stay that way

I don't think Rain isn't really that great of a character. He's kind of like an Xtra fighter like BlaZe and Mokap

THANK YOU!! finally someone understands the stupidity of some people on this board. Do I need to mention that a lot of popular characters have shitty storylines? Johnny Cage, and Scorpion are two good examples.

I wish to see Rain back, but I have a gut feeling the team at midway didnt put him in the game.

Well all i have to say is that i liked rain very much, i love the part when they stated he was teh son of a General in Shao Kahns army, i think the desrves to be revamped and given a whole new personality, he has a lot of potential.
