i just thought of something that would lead to the REAL deadly alliance. think in terms of this: assuming noob-smoke's ending is canon, and boon's "promise" that there will never again be an MK game w/o scorpion and sub, here's my outlandish prediction for MK7:
scorpion and sub-zero will team up. i mean, they have a common enemy: noob saibot. remember? original sub (now noob) was the one who killed scorpion, and even though scorpion exacted his revenge, it wouldn't be so bad for scorpion to gain another killing to get 1-up on the wraith. and sub-zero, since he will no doubt be "resurrected" (if killed) will want another shot at noob (hopefully without smoke in the equation). also, scorpion vowed to protect the current sub in MK2, so who's to say that this whole thing can't happen?
