Before MKDA was released, there was such a big hype for the game. Why? Because there was so much to be said about it. Because it was also the first time to bring mk to a next generation console. Because MK, was so popular in the days, who could forget about it. As we have seen the last previous installment of mortal kombat was mk4, where things weren't too great. And as time moved on, the release of mkda was approaching. This game was anticipated by many fans in the mortal kombat communities and non kombatants as well. Noone knew what kind of game it would be. When the first shots were published out on the internet and other sources through the internet, we all have to agree that when we saw for the first time with our eyes the screenshot of "Scorpion", we were shocked to see such a thing. And from then we believed that this game was going to be something in a long time to be happy about. As time went on, more and more details were revealed about the game, such as the different modes, the characters, the arenas, etc.
The 3 fighting styles was introduced for the first time ever in MK. Weapons were much more a part of the game. And the first time witnessing of a fatality on a next gen console. Even though this game was such a hit, it was just a brief sameple of what was to come in it's sequel. Whether or not be a sequel would be based upon if the game did and sold well. The mere concept of MKDA was to find out if the fans would appreciate the new look and the new fighting styles incorporated into an MK fighting game. Many things had been mentioned about mkda which didn't make an appearance. The features of finding weapons mid fight in arenas, which could be picked up and used to fight with. Stage fatalities, is another feature. And especially the stage interaction was mentioned, which barely made an introduction into mkda. The only interactivity was the acid spitting buddhas, which was the most fun of them all. Besides, how can you really define a stage with just obstacles in it, like icicles, and statues, they're just merely the same concept repeated into the other stages. Many other things that weren't in mkda were things like clothing being actually ripped and torn. Other features were hidden moves or combos. And even the combo system had something missing that a lot of people blindly forgot about. Since the new 3 fighting style feature had people amazed to see them all interactive in a fight at the same time by just switching a stance, and even during combos. Many people forgot about combos that you can actually customize that was supposed to be a part of this game, not normal combos given in the list of moves for a character, but instead hidden combos where you can actually have to figure out some nice decent devastating combos.
Everything that was in MKDA was just a test, to see that if the fans would like the game, and they did. And so did the continuation for the sequel. The test was most likely to see the basics of their new game, which was made out of scratch.By looking at fans loving mkda which was a basic game used as a test, MKDCN i believe has everything that i hoped MKDA had. That's why i was a little disappointed after a while with the game. Because i realized how come they didn't have so many things that they said they did. But still the gameplay was fun. The Krypt was a huge waste, but for some mk fans, they might think otherwise. They krypt's main purpose was to buy characters, and stages. Otherwise if you're a normal fan, you wouldn't have liked it. It was just most likely put together to give the fans something because they didn't want to release anything more and give out too much until their chance to make a true game. So...Many fans were disappointed by this, including me. and hope that the next version of the krypt if they do have it, would be not just unlocking characters, stages, costumes, it would also be used probably to unlock moves, weapons, fatalities, secrets, etc. You never know what can be included in the list, there are many possibilities. I'm not going to make a huge list, i'm just comparing to show you other fans what MK: Dcn has in store for us.
Now as I look back, the ability to drop weapons and pick up weapons weren't available in mkda, and maybe quan chi's insect weapon might make an appearance. Who knows maybe Shang Tsung might get a chance to morph, or if a new character has the ability to morph only from a selectable characters quite possibly evil ones. And even the customization of the barriers around a level was disabled to make it interact after a certain hits the player could be thrown off boundary to perform a stage fatal. Many Many things have been left out from the mkda, which was supposed to make mkda an unbelievable game, and as it has been played without many of those features the game still stands monumentally with it's basics components. Now don't you think that MK:DCN is the full package that we wanted to see earlier when MK:DA was released?

U make alot of sense. But its really hard to tell if that was the true intentions of the MK team. Hopefully Deception will be everything we want it to be.

Yes, it isn't clear what the mk team's intentions are, unless they say so during an interview. So, i hope this is the case with this game. And if it is believable, and if you do believe this theory, the fans of mk will have something to celebrate about.
