We'll have to wait and see what happens. I want to know what happened to Mavado and am hoping he'll be sending in one of his sub ordinates to help in the fight and remove the rest of the Black Dragon threat.
Mavado himself also should be in and I'm hoping he and Kabal will come to blows once more and hopefully this time, we'll get to see what happens.

Yeah, Midway just can't kill off Mavado or the Red Dragon considering that Mavado never died or was defeated in any of the endings. But like Tgrant said, we'll have to wait and see.

Agree. But I have no interest in Kira anymore. She turned into a complete deception.
Anyway, I think we might see Mavado at the end. Its strange to see so many Black Dragons and not 1 single Red Dragon Member.

Odd how you lose interest in Kira for pretty much being a Reptile for Kano an Sonya. Lot's of people claim they would have loved to use the original Reptile that combined Sub Zero's and Scorpion's moves. I think Kira will be a very effective character and fun to use, as I did enjoy Kano in DA, and Soyna seemed decent.
Maybe you weren't one of the people who liked the MK1 Reptile though, and actually, I perfer the originality of the moves Reptile got in MK2 and Maintained in MK3 (though he was far less effective against computer opponents in MK3).
I think that the Red Dragon needs to stick around a little longer, Movado was cool (though his fatality was nearly as rediculous as the neck stretch)and I think they have a opportunity to create a wide assortment of great characters that belong to that group.

I think one of these twists will happen:
A. To balance the crime in the world, Hotaru will join the Red Dragon to uphold Order.
B. Kabal has other reasons for reforming the Black Dragon, such as destroying it for either the Red Dragon, or being hired by the OWIA to stop the Red Dragon.

Although Reptile was a complete rip off back then, it was and it is something totally different from today.
He was an extra hidden character, a good one with potential, and besides, back then we lived the attack of rip off/pallet swap characters, people only started to get annoyed about this after Mk2.
Kira was one of my favorites, but giving her classic trademark moves was a terrible idea. Reason why I dislike her now. Doesn’t matter who, if she was suddenly given all of X characters special moves, I would still dislike her a lot.
BTW, Kano was good in MKDA, Sonya was brutal.

I think it would make more sence if Darrius, DFairou or Havik joned the red dragon to spread chaos... hotaru joins the DK to uphold order...
And I think Mavado is still roaming about... since Kira wants to kill him...

Someone (don't remember who) said that they thought the tattoo on Dairou's forehead looked like the Red Dragon symbol.

You're right there! Kano was good. Sonya was truly amazonian! She was a warrior! Shes fast, shes fearless, her boobs are as high as an elephants eye and thats why I love her.
Sorry to burst out in the middle of a red dragon topic but I had to say that.

OK then anyways the red dragon will be back even though I don't like any of them except Mavado. Boon won't kill them all of a sudden because that would be stupid and all the people who like the red dragon would get mad. The black dragon is way better because the colors better and Kira and Kobra are in it now. Ohh and Queve I agree Sonya was deffinetley one of the best if not the best mkda character. Sonya will return in mk7. Although I wish she was in this mk game I doubt she'll be playable no matter how much I wan't her to be in it. I'm all for this though cuz she can get worked on even more for mk7.
