well it would bring all the main characters into play...it would show how crazy and devious Quan Chi is...i dunno..he just seems like tha type of guys that would purposely fuck with a bunch of people

like i believe he plotted Scorpions death(but not his full on hatred for him or his escape), because he wanted Scorpion to be the third oni...just like he used Sub-zero to kill Scorpion ..that way Sub-zero gets the map of elements and gets the amulet..he then wants Sub-zero to join him.

so maybe Quan Chi is behind all the shit that the other Sub-Zero is going through..it sounds like Quan chi's style

1.he holds a grudge
2.he just plain evil
3.who knows how far his influence goes...perhaps the cyborg program was his idea..maybe he just nudged the old grandmaster towards the idea

let me explain it

1.Sub-zero kills Scorpion
2.Scorpion becomes a servant of hell and wants revenge..which always has a price
3.With Scorpion dead, Sub-zero goes on Quest to get amulet
4.Sub-zero fights Scorpion in hell and wins
5.Quan chi is pleased by this and offers Sub-zero a job in the BOTS
6. Years later Scorpion kills Sub-zero
7.Quan chi's intrest in Scorpion increases
8. Quan chi wants Scorpion to destory the Sub-zero blood line so he lets him out of hell to fight the younger sub-zero
9. Quan chi is pissed that Scorpion and Sub-zero become friends so he fucks up Sub-zero's life
10. Quan chi using his demonic influences tells the grandmaster to start the cyborg program
11. Quan chi laughs as Sub-zero is on a run for his life
12.Blah blah blah..everything is kinda slow..Sub-zero evades each attack on his life..Quan chi is pissed
13.Quan chi tells Scorpion that Sub-zero killed his family..thus making Scorpion try to kill Sub-zero
14. that fails..So Quan chi calls upon Sektor to duke it out with Subby
15. during some course in time Quan chi tells the red dragon about the lin kui


it seems that Quan chi has been a buzy beaver

Sounds like a good idea. That does make sense. Who knows? We might see something like that in MK6.

Guys, dont forget it said that the original sub-zero was freed from the netherealm..he's coming back. MK6 is gonna kick so match ass with such cool characters coming back. i never liked Sektor, but now I think hes almost as cool as my boy Smoke.

when did it say he was freed? aside from sareena's bio..which is refering to the time he got freed from it in mkm:s-z

Yeah. The Lin Kuei will probably team up with the Special Forces to fight against the Red Dragon and Tekunin. Because of Mavado's ending, it seems that Mavado and Sektor have a common enemy (Sub-Zero) and will join forces together to destroy him and the Lin Kuei.
