OK, before you start bashing, yes yes I know Mortal Kombat is first and foremost a dark, brooding violent fighting game at all times BEFORE even becoming close to being within the same vicinity as a soap opera.

but I was wondering.....will the relationships between some of the characters grow a little complex? I mean, what with Smoke coming back, you know it has something to do with Sub-Zero, then there's Kitana's absence and Liu Kang's return....you know that's bound to stir up some feelings. Then, we have the possibility that Mileena and Baraka were secret lovers or something like that....and now they're fighting (You guys are going to choke me for this, but I don't think they are. I think they're staging the fight to fool someone else).

I was just thinking, since the theme of it all is deception....and yeah, it seems some old wounds will be reopened.
