If Deception does take place right after MK:DA it would have to mean that Reptile would still look the same. Surely he couldn't have de-evolved any further in such a short time?!?
It'd be too strange and hard to believe that he has morphed into anything different, especially the Dragon King immediately after the last game?!?
Also if Deception does take place straight after Deadly Alliance, wouldn't it mean that if a character isn't in Deception, they would have to been killed in MK:DA?

I totally disagree. These creatures could devolve in short periods of time.
At any rate, the beam that shot across reptile aint gonna help him stay the same.
No on the third one too.

I dont think Reptile merging with the Dragon King would be counted as a natural de-evoltuion. Most likly he will be a giant dragon/lizard hybrid. Maybe we can hope for a secret playable version of Reptile.

That is assuming his ending actually happened though

Ermac, Baraka, Noob, and others are back. So it doesnt mean that if deception takes place right after DA, that everyone is dead.

It's a video game of course Reptile could devolve in time, he could probably devolve in a second due to the fact that he is the lone survivor of a fictional race of aliens called Zatterians!
