Reptile has nothing to do with MKD maybe in the ending but as of now no Onaga is Onaga Reptile is Reptile and he ISN'T in the game.

I do believe that Reptile IS the Dragon King, or am I mistaken? I thought the ending of Deadly Alliance said that the Dragon King had returned, meaning when Reptile went towards the egg it took over him or some shit. I don't remember it all, but didn't it say that he was transformed into Onaga? Reptile can't be playable if he's turned into someone else.

Yea but Reptile is in the Prison stage as both forms..I have a feeling the original ninja one and the reptilian looking one are two different reptiles, one that totally evolved and another.....I have a feeling because both reptiles are in the prison that the Reptile from mkda was not the original one

For some reason I doubt that their presence in the jail makes it canon. I think their just being used as placeholders/rumor starters.
As for Reptile being the Dragon King, I hope not. Because then I'll doubt we'll see Reptile as a playable character ever again, and he's my favorite character.

I agree about your first statement, there is no connection to the storyline and the fact that there are any Reptiles, let alone two, in the prison. They can't just go changing his story entirely after giving one. Secondly, I still do believe Reptile is the dragon king, but I must admit, my speculation rises with each new prefiew. However, I think that even if it is Reptile, once the DK dies, Reptile will somehow get his body back. I mean, I was never a big user of Reptile, but I still think he's a cool guy.

But they never gave hiim a storyline with the Dragon King taking his body because he didnt win the tournament
Li Mei won, and then Shang and Quan tricked her and threw her in the body of that mummified body.......and then Shunjiko did something to bring him back.......he said it in the intro and the stroylines show Li Mei winning and Shang and Quan working with Raiden....so reptile never really had that storyline..he didnt win

Exactly was! I am not saying he is not playable I just dont think he is Dragon King and I dont think Reptile with the mask and in reptilian form are the same Reptile......

Well according to the endings in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, Reptile is in fact Onaga, but according by these endings, Liu Kang's soul is now inhabiting Kano's body(Quan Chi's Ending. So these endings might just be thrown out...

But people you gotta understand that hte people in the prison are just random just because they are there doesn't mean they have anything to do with who is playable. It has been stated that the people there are just a random batch and Jade just happened to be there and she was confirmed way before that picture of he rint he prison was released.
