commercial rubbish, but i have high hopes in funness (makin up words now)

MK8, as for the whole "money maker" gig MK 8 was going to go after that anyway despite the crossover...fans asked for a change, we got it. Some like it, others don't.

That usually what happens anyway, but honestly there's way more gimmicky/commercial products out there then this if you ask me

There's Sony with the ridiculous pricing of their consoles(now the only ones for the most part are the 400 buck ones, took em long enough to realize....) the whole blu ray thing=super gimmick

Xbox with the "elite edition" just a bs gimmick so people can get a black 360 with some more memory...wow

The wii even at first, but it's like TRMK said in his vids...when nintendo first came up with the idea, people thought OMG OMG this is gonna suck ass!

Now? hmmm for something that sucks ass, it's leading in worldwide sales in the home console market and proved lots of people wrong but then again if I had to bet, I'd say console critics are more openminded to newer ideas then MK fans usually are given what I've seen. The "money maker" gig doesn't just apply to MK though, look at SC 4 lol putting in SW characters you're telling me that's not a gimmick on part? lol or SF4 even, which is more or less a 3D looking SF2 revamped, with a few new characters...all games will try to bring in the dough with things they believe will make people buy their product.

FTR, I'm excited for the change. I've always been an MK fans, always been a DC fan so I'm looking forward to it

mklegend you are right about all the others that just want to make cash at the expence of quality but i dont care about them. I just hope mk8 is gonna be good.
