I used to love having all of the characters have those moves. They all sort of made each character look equally strong! It would be awesome if Deception brought them back. It would be hard though seeing that there are different fighting styles for the characters now.
I've posted a lot on here, but this is the first thread I've started! lol. Cut me some slack! This was the first topic I could think of.

I totally agree, these two moves should be standard for each fighter, not having those in MKDA kinda dissapointed me.All Kharakters should also be able to knee, but that's just my opinion.

I loved those two moves as well, but it is time to move on.I like the fact that real martial art styles where used and everybody had their own flavor. It add alo more depth to MK,and from the sound of it MKD will be even deeper.

Some Characater did have them:
Uppercuts: Sub-Zero, Raiden, Sonya
Roundhouses: Johnny, Sonya, Cyrax, Reptile
There are more I just can't remember them now. I think that the "Standard" Uppercuts and Roundhouses have no place anymore because the moves are all now style specific. Which I think is a good thing. That's ok though cause there are so many moves to choose from and so many great fighting styles that I don't even miss them.

Could'nt have said it better myself, buy not only that every character is not equally strong, some rely on quicker, weaker moves while others are slower and stronger.

Wouldn't it just be possible for every fighter to have an added style? One that was the same for EVERY character? It could be called... uh... I don't know... OLD SCHOOL or something. From this style only Basic Jabs & Kicks, Sweeps, Uppercuts, Roundhouses and Special Moves would be available while in this mode.
Perhaps make it toggleable through the options menu.

I think it just depends on the fighting style that the character is given. Yes, i do agree these 2 moves kik ass, but if they dont fit the style, then they shouldnt be used for the character. Maybe the MK team could find a way, but I think itll be like in MKDA where only some of the characters had these 2 moves........
