Boon said for Deadly Alliance he was going back to the drawing board and making it a new game just like Mk 1. He threw out Babalities and friendships, and had only 1 fatality for each fighter. If what I am seeing is correct, I am expecting for the next one to be more like Mortal Kombat 2. Perhaps we'll have a boss that wasn't a playable fighter before(like Shang Tsung in MK2) appear as a kombatant. Also I expect they'll put in 2 fatalities, stage fatalities, and maybe some new finishing move. Hopefully it won't be corny like friendships, babalities, or brutalties, or animalities. I am thinking weapon fatilities would do the trick, like while your weapon is equipped you can do a new combination that will kill the opponent. Perhaps Blaze will be a normal playable character too as like Reptile was in MK2.
