Rumored Super Unlockables in Mortal Kombat: Deception?

A long time ago I was snooping around gamewinners.com, looking for a fatalities list for MKD. I stumbled across this:

MENU MYSTERY
Press L1 at the start menu to reset your profile. Notre three rows of scrolling words. Press X to change the word that appears in the top row. A diffrent word will appear each time X is pressed. The word in the middle row seems to be a random name of a realm each time the menu is entered. The word in the bottom row always says "deception". So far there is no noticed effect by doing this, but it may be related to the rumored "Super Unlockables" in the game.


Is this worth looking into? does any one know more about it? Or, is it just a hoax?

I've heard about changing the scrolling words but the sites I've seen with this little "cheat" said you could change all three words (Though I may be wrong as I didn't pay much attention to it...). These sites only went as far as to say you could change words in the background and made no mention of "Super Unlockables." If you have Deception I'd say give it a shot. It couldn't hurt. If you do decide to look into it, tell me if it works.

i doubt it an unlockable. there are no "super unlockable" in MKD

Hey, I found out how to fight as Monster, but he has scorpions moves. And I unlocked Hotaru in puzzle kombat.

You just have to match the realm name on the second row with a character that comes from that realm on the first row.
