Since January, the MK fans we will hope to see MK8 in GI... now, I don't want a rumour fully of hope... I want a rumour-fact, rumour because isn't yet confirmed, but fact because the source is reliable.

Only partially so, remember the last two MK games were first shown in the April issues of GI the year of release, so it stands to reckon the new one will follow suit if its on track.

This is totally incorrect. For MKDA was June Magazine, for MKD was in March PSM (not GameInformer), for MKSM was in November Magazine, and for MKAr was in January Magazine.

The only thing, is that if the game is still planned to release in November 2008, in these dates we already know the name, and see the first concept sketches/renders and info. So, or this time Midway prefers more compacted and daily info, or the game is delayed to 2009...

I actually wouldn't mind if the game was delayed until March 2009. They need time to make a good game with all the new Console technologies etc. etc.

It actually takes a lot of work to accomplish. Perhaps releasing the game in 2009 might be a better idea.

Yea 2009 seems like a better realistic release date rather then sometime this year.Hell look at the time frame from MK4 to MKDA.I wouldn't mind it even being in Oct of 09 or in the 4th QTR of 2009.

I also don't mind if we don't see anything until E3 or mid summer about Mortal Kombat.Think about it this way,we get it this year and we find glitches as usual and everyone is gonna be like.Damn,think about how much better it would have been if they took more time and released it in 09 instead.

That's the joy about rumors, they can go either way. 50/50, most of the time they're BS though but can be true.
