I think the same way you did about Scorpion's ending in MK:DA. A man on a quest for vengence all these years and all of a sudden can't acheive it? Hopefully, in MK:D opening we can see the Scorpion/Quan Chi story. Boon said that as long as he makes MK, Sub-Zero and Scorpion will be in the game. If Scorpion did kill Quan Chi in MK:DA, then why would he still be around? Can't wait to see his story in MK:D.

I'm guessing, since he's a ninja spectre and all, being ripped apart by a 'soulnado' isn't all that much different than visiting hell casually.

This is probably just another incarnation of the spectre, just because his story is delayed doesn't mean it just goes away, he can just keep spawning until vengeance is paid, heh. Must be nice.

If that is so, why does Quan Chi resist his fate? That is why I find Scorpion as an unfair character in Mortal Kombat, he is like Jason, you can't kill him. I think Quan Chi is an ignorant character who believes he could change his own fate with his blind power.

The only way to actually finish Scorpion's story is for him to actually kill Quan Chi. I think that is going to happen when the franchise ends. As a Scorpion fan, people are probably greatfull that Ed Boon has an attachment to this character. In Deception I wonder if Scorpion finally finishes his quest?

I don't like the idea of when he was beaten up. Maybe Quan Chi was making up everything (but I doubt it) and then he passes the bait to someone else.

Yeah he was smoking moloch and Drahmin for a little while, but two on one sucks... I think that in MKD his storyline should be a main component in the overall development of the story...

Well all the character slots aren't full yet are they? Quan Chi could still be in the game and even if Scorpion is to finish him off I'm sure they can think of a way to keep Scorpion around.

Maybe he could be granted more time on Earth by the Elder Gods for helping the Mortals? Or since he is from Earth Realm maybe it would be cool to have the next game in a different realm. Like the unexplained "Orderrealm". This way his soul can not return to Earths hell because he's not on Earth.

Just a few idea's, but God only know's what these guys can come up with. I just don't like the idea of a CLASSIC bad ass like Scorpion, who was around since the first, get ripped apart by 2 characters who nobody cares about.

yeah scorpions endings always make you feel sorry for him is he ever gonna get his vengeance so he can rest in hell? maybe he will in deception and he will be back in mk7 to defend the netherrealm beside noob saibot

i love scorpion too, he is my favorite character of all time, always has been, always will be

Well, I think Scorpion's story will be very interesting in MK Deception. I mean, if his story continued the way it did, then Quan-Chi would have to be in every game after this one.

Something tells me his storyline will be VERY altered in this game.
