If you want to be really cheap, you could wait til you get Mileena, then just keep doing the Teleport kick...or with Tanya, her corkscrew kick.

Kitten this is honestly the easiest way though it is very cheap, its a good beat you will beat him within 5 tries if you try this out....
Wait till you get baraka and just do his special foward, foward, x - i think it is,,, the special where he goes sliding foward with his blades out,,, and just keep repeatin this special before he gets up,, he will have a very tough time blocking, it only took me two tries with baraka.... also if he you have trouble with this change the difficulty to novice it makes it easier also....

The 'cheapest' trick is to go to options and said the arcade mode to easy. The arcade battles within konquest are affected by that. It makes him a breeze.

Seriously, here's the best strategy, and it applies to all: don't listen to others suggestions, because MK gameplay is subjective, what works for one person might not work for another. Learn a character. Better yet, multiple characters. Fight him until you win.
