hmmm, well i must say that this is excellent news. maybe it will put to rest the complaints from fans who have claimed that "it doesn't really fit Scorpion." even better news is that Scorpion's classic "Toasty" fatality just might return.

i have a question: why does everyone want scorpion to have his toasty? i understand it is a classic fatality, but we have seen it many times. wouldn't you rather have something different?
p.s. i'm not saying he shouldn't have it, i just want to hear other peoples opinions.

I hope that he may have it now that Darruis has the arm rip/beat Fatality that we thought Scorpion had. Why, do we all want his "Toasty" Fatality? It's Scorpion. Sub Zero has his freeze fatalities why can't Scorpion have his fire version toasty Fatality? I hope he has it but if not I would love to see a new one.

Well my opinion is that Scorpion should combine his fire with his sword. Like he lights his sword on fire and slashes the opponent into pieces.

I thought his sword was already defaultly lit...

This is kool move...I thought the arm rip for scorpion was kool, but now that they gave it to darrius it leaves open so many doors for Scorp's second one.
Wasn't their already a rumour (an old rumour I agree) that one of Scorpions fatalities involved his Flamming Sword?
What ever his Second fatality is...it's gonna be KICK ASS!!! I mean c'mon...this is Ed Boons favorite character we are talking about :)

I'd just like to point out that this is another PERFECT indication to prove that the MK team really do listen to what all their fans have to say/want. Whether it be requests, complaints, or good ideas...Mortal Kombat Deception...more than any other MK Game, consists of SO MANY things/ideas/requests that their fans have talked about.
I think they deserve a pat on da bak :)

It looked like he ripped their arm off and shoved it through their chest, but the other crap, like the enlarged and red head-thing totally lost me.

I agree that Scorpion toasty should be combined with something else, because already Boraicho does toasty fatalities. Scorpion's would look just the same.
Maybe summoning something from hell or turning himself into a cloud of flames. Whatever.

I also noticed that his alt doesnt have the skull showing like in DA, so It's looking VERY possible...

I have been waiting for scorpion to change since mk4 - hes been the same in everything MK! I want him to change like ermac and sub has done and fuck that ninja look for his main costume! I want him to look dead, skullish and cool- and I want him to be more yellow than gold - gold looks plain and boring and thats one of the reasons his yellow classic alt is so good!

I agree for the most part, but it would still be nice to have a Toasty-esque fatality again.
While on the topic of Scorpion's fatalities, does anybody remember that gif somebody made to promote their site (i think it was just a while before MK:DA was released) of Scorpion flipping over Cage with his sword drawn (similar to Yoshimitsu's "moonsault slayer" move), followed by Cage's 2 body halves splitting, ala Kung Lao's hat slice?
That would make a great fatality for an upcoming game.
(That remains one of my favourite MK fanart peices to this day)

Actually they prolly wont give scorpion his toast because bo rai cho kinda has the same think with one of his fatalities so i dont think he will get it back. But if he does then no doubt i will be seeing the fatality over and over again

on topic, I really love Scorpion's toasty fatal, but since bo Rai 'cho already has one really alike, I really hope scorpion has a new fatality, but that includes fire :P

im hoping the toasty fatal does come back, but like how it was in mk2.. sadly it wont ever be like mk2's toasty but i can cross my fingers and hope!!
