That would be a good storyline but it could never happen. If Scorpion did kill Quan Chi he would stay dead for good. The Sub-Zero that Scorpion had a grudge against died in MK1 by the hands of him. Also Scorpion's wife and kid were killed by Quan Chi.

The Sub-Zero - Scorpion deal would be a nice, and rather logic, idea. Specially considering that it was due to Quan Chi killing Scorpion's family that Scorpion killed Sub-Zero's brother. Also, Frost is undoubtedly going rogue on Sub-Zero, so Sub-Zero will probably want to have someone to back him up when she does. Also, since Scorpion is no longer an assassin, he could even join the Lin Kuei, as he too has a power (due to his hellish origin).
Also, one thing that we (or at least I) haven't been told: WHY did Quan Chi kill Scorpion's family? I mean, he revealed himself as the killer, but not exactly why did he do it.
Also, once Quan Chi and Shang Tsung break their alliance (which surely will happen as soon as the Dragon King awakes), Moloch and Drahmin will probably leave Quan Chi behind in order to join the Dragon King (after he retrieves his Amulet, now in Quan Chi's possession).

I just hope that in the near future, Scorpion finally gets a happy ending.

That would be a good story, although I've always seen Scorpion more evil than good (well he is). But the pact with Sub-zero would make perfect sense when you think about it.

he was hired by the lin kui master

it was a trade
sub-zero does the missions, quan chi kills the rival clan

all this is told in mkm:sub-zero

scorpion is dead he dont need a wife,so he could probably care less about that.

he had the wife when he was alive
he loved his clan and family
he was about love and honor

This could be a really good storyline for Scorpion: he was vanished into the soultournado and now is just remembered by all those who met him...

And I know you all are going to say he can't die because he is already dead... Well, his ending said he "was vanished" not dead... So that means something else...

But anyways, he is most likely to come back (unfortunately for those of us who think that he has become something too boring since he is not having that much of a change during the past... 3-4 games???) since we all know he's got a good fan base, and if he's not included then I think they'll have like an earthquake of complaints.

What I try to say is that, his storyline would have to have something more than just "avenging my family and clan" stuff... FIVE games of that is way too much... What they should do is remake him, I mean not only the storyline but his costumes, his moves... And people should let go the classic looks nostalgia, IMO they are doing a good remake for old characters. They all had something diff. Sub-Zero, Sonya, Reptile, Kung Lao... They all have had diff. things (costumes, moves, etc.) than from previous games (but keeping their "essence"). The ones that didn't change that much were Scorpion and Kitana, they seemed like "more of the same", IMO!!!!

If you put it like that, then that would be pretty good. If only Scorpion's wife could be a playable character...

the defeat of shang tsung by scorpion's hands had impressed the likes of raiden, and being ambushed by moloch and drahmin, Raiden released Scorpion's soul from the soulnado, and offered him the chance to be mortal kombat champion.
At first Scorpion was not interested, but the thought gaining revenge against quan chi and retribution against moloch and drahmin soon had him changing his mind. But that wasn't the only thing occupying Scorpion's mind. His wife was now ressurected by Quan Chi to provide a distraction. and what was worse was the fact she was serving him.

i like all your ideas but here is my ideea..after being trow into soulnado..Sub-zero the new Earth protector help Scopion to escape from the soulnado and both of them now protetc the Earth.Of course that Scorpion had his revenge.

no lyin to u dude, its a bit simplified and kinda makes the scorps master a weak character. he's known as a badass character try giving him a very unique twist. good try though, by the way, just post if u want, u dont have to ask, cool dude.

Well, here ́s a thought I ́ve had: the Soulnado is supposed to be connected to Heaven, right? And Scorpion ́s hellspawned body was supposed to be destroyed by it, right? Still, that ́s probably not going to be enough to stop him, I mean, the guy ́s returned from death how many times now? There won ́t be stopping the Scorpion until he ́s had his revenge on Quan Chi (who not only murdered his family, but, to add insult to injury, also manipulated him into almost killing the new Sub-Zero).

So, if his hellspawned spectre body is destroyed by the soulnado, and he ́s unable to return to Hell and reform, and is cut off from Hell, the energies of wich seem to make him stronger... what if he reforms using the energy of heaven instead? What if instead of a spectre he comes back as some sort of avenging angel or something?

Plus, if he *does* get his revenge (and I hope he eventually will), that won ́t necessarily mean he ́ll die and rest in peace. What if even after killing Quan Chi he finds that his soul cannot rest? What then? I think that might make the character more interesting. Now that his one motivation for existing is gone, what will he do? Join the good guys? Become a force of evil and destruction? Or simply continue to be a loner, searching for a meaning for his immortal existence?

If Scorpion defeated Quan Chi, he would have no purpose to be alive (or as a spectre). Heres goes my story: Scorpion finally caught up to the free roaming sorcerer and defeated him with his own bare hands. Scorpion soon started to fade and disappeared into hell once again. As he entered hell, he found Quan Chi as a spectre. Quan Chi threatened to pursue Scorpion as Scorpion had so many before to him. Scorpion showed no fear and tormented his soul in hell. Quan Chi managed to escape his wrath once again. He won't stop until Quan Chi's soul is eleminated. May Scorpion's Soul Live on

he finds ermac, makes a pact with him ,he gets out of that soulnado, with new powers and ermac as a comrad, also with new powers, both still keeping the old powers, just getting new ones. kick themself's some ass, and then grab a few brewseks and get piss drunk. end of the fight, go off to heven, all of them. (the reson is becose ermac is a bunch of souls, and thay all just want peace, get it?)

why not MK1 SubZero and Scorpion because they have the common enemy Quan Chi.

scorpion doesnt want to kill quan chi but to make him suffer. think about it: scorp beat the crap outta chi every chance he got in hell. you dont think that at least once he couldve taken him out? scorps gonna be around for a long time (im guessing as he cant die, and as far as the soulnado (sik!) goes i cant see it having much affect on him. i mean the guy knows every backdoor out of hell for crying out loud!) and knows that without his thirst for revenge he has nothing, no drive, no focus.


was shao kahn actually killed or just beaten? if its the former id like to see him restore scorpion to his demon form to seek vengeance against the two sorcerors.

either that or see scorp make a deal with saibot. quan chi was in hell for like two seconds and he got friends, itd be nice to think that scorp aligned himself with someone.

whatever it turns out to be, ill be happy so long as rayden doesnt bring him back. if thats the case then it doesnt matter who dies cos in the blink of an eye rayden will whip them back. next thing you know kang will be back.
