A few things:

1. What the fuck are you doing playing a PS3 on a plasma screen. Warranty won't cover that in most cases.

2. I don't think you can turn them off.

3. Yes, your screwed.

How long ago did you purchase the plasma tv? if it's new it shouldn't have that problem, the newly built plasmas within the past 2-3 years are improved and supposedly don't have burn-ins on the screen.

You should also check to see if you have manufacturers warrantee.

I don't know what Plasma you guys have been playing on, but by nature they all have ghosting with enough game play.

The difference between then and now is that the Plasmas are curable.

Like the poster said, it dissapeared after a while.

The nature of the beast, but rest assured if you want to save your tv, just don't overdo it. Give it a break, and watch a little of something else...or alot of times there is a White screen thing that fixes the problem of burn in.

LCD forever! Plasma's are going bye bye for this and many more reasons.

Though one thing....burn in is a hell of alot better then dead pixels if you ask me! That crap is permanent.furious
