Video games are meant to be over-the-top, just like comic books. No real person is ever going to have bodies like that of a video game character's or wear the clothing they do, and it would just be dull if it was true to life. People don't play Mortal Kombat for realism.

She is by far the only one who has not been naked in a game. She keeps one original style, sexy but decent.

No, no... Characters can be attractive with curves and everything, but they don't have to wear like almost nothing... Leave something to imagination... Mortal Kombat has a great storyline and great characters with different interesting backgrounds... That's why I play Mortal Kombat and not DOA. I love women as much as the next straight guy, but I really thought that Mortal Kombat fan base was a respectable corwd of people who have lives... Not like the nerds who buy video games JUST for sexual content.

mk has been around for a long time, they dont need to advertise sex to sell a mk game, imo, mk6 is gonna be huge and burry mkda in terms of sales..and sex wont have anything to do with it..lol

Who neccessarily said that Outworld would have the same conservitive values as Earth. For Jade, Sindel, Kitana, Mileena, Tanya, etc. this could be normal for them to wear or its comfortable for them to fight in.

Who ever said that's the only reason people buy the game? I play DOA because it's fun and the graphics are great. There are also nice looking women in the game, so what? Sex does sell, to men AND women. People like looking at sexy bodies, there's nothing wrong with that. If you think there's something wrong with looking at a sexy body, but NOTHING wrong with watching that body explode into a gory mess, then maybe you have problems.

Boo hoo, there wasn't enough creative ways to murder someone at the end of the round in MK5, lets complain about that. Then lets turn around and say the women are too sexy. Up with graphic violence and gore, down with the beauty of the human body!

Yeah lately I don't really like the kinda DOA turn MK has taken a liking too, sure it's not as bad as the girls from Soul Calibur 2, but still I'm sure just about everyone that has played MK:DA has noticed the drastic change in the character's bust size

I do think sex sells, but I dont think that is very much to do with the appeal of MOrtal Kombat. Ok, the women in it have good figures etc, but the majority of people wont sit in front a computer gettin their sexual kicks from watchin the women.

Anyway, I don't think that the sexually attractive bodies in MK ever made the game sell more copies. Little clothing is okay, as long as it's still stylistically okay. I disliked Nitara's primary costume, for example, and I never liked Tanya's costumes in MK4 (Kitana rip-offs). I'm more concerned with aesthetics than with nudity.

I dunno....... I like violence and sex. And I'd like to see it in videogames. Especiality in Mortal Kombat. This game has a big potential about it. I think that if companies like Namco, Eidos, Capcom and Midway release naked images of their famous girls (Kitana, Sonya, Lara Croft, Ivy, Nina etc), I mean completely naked, this'll helps alot to fight with all of this stupid cheap drawings and stuff that you can find all over the net. Ther just won't be any sense in doing such a things.

And if in a battle I, for example, cut clothes off from the some female-warrior breast and it's gonna get naked, so what wrong about it? It's sexy, it's realistic, it's simply cool and NOT stupid, 'cause it have a reason! No, wait, I've got to correct myself: I don't want SEX in videogames. I don't to see like some hairy asshole fucks the character I like. I want just to see these girls naked. At least topless.

Videogame law mandates that all female characters wear as little clothing as possible. It's been that way for years. Of course sex sells; that's just the way or society, if not our entire species, is. As long as people think with their dicks, they will put sexy women in videogames. I don't have a problem with it, but I expect that at some point someone will cross a line with it, and the FCC will go apeshit on the videogame industry. So, enjoy it while it lasts.

Ummm.... i dont think the FCC can really do fuck all about the content of video games so long as they are rated accordingly and tell you that it contains nudity and or sexuality, along with the excessive blood and gore. In MK's case it already carries a Mature rating, which obvioulsy means it isn't "intended" for little kids, though little kids do play it, as a matter of fact i was a little kid when i first played mk. So yeah FCC cant do anything about it really. Besides "Colon" Powels son runs it no? And doesnt "Colon" mean asshole?............ Who would knowingly name their kid Asshole?

Its not against the law to sell a kid a video game thats rated M. Its just a guideline for parents. It covers the video games ass for lawsuits and such.

Bring ripped clothing in. Put some bobbies in, hell put some floppin' wang in for all I care.

Its up to MK and team to push the envelope.
