I definitely see no difference with Mileena’s alt costume and Sheevas costume in MK3. They are almost the same!
Nitara and Li Mei also had a very "sexy mileena like" costume in MKDA and MKD.
And females like Kitana, Jade, Sindel, Tanya, and even Ashrah show more then they should show. All being classified in the same group of “cheap whores”, like most call them.
I rather say some dress improperly because of their status (Kitana, Sindel), some don’t even need to show that much (Li Mei, Nitara), and some actually look good because it fits the character (Mileena).

Yeah, Mileena dresses like a slut. But that's the way Mileena is. It's her character. As several others have already pointed out, she has a perfect body but a nasty ass face so she dresses like a whore to draw attentiion away from it. That's just the way Mileena is, so her attire suits her character.
Is it impractical? Yeah, but then so is every other attire, male or female. Would you go into battle against crazed mutants with blades coming out of their arms bare-chested? Ninjas are supposed to be masters of stealth and hiding in the shadows. So then why are all the ninjas in Mortal Kombat wearing brightly colored armor? Would a ninja where armor at all? You could go on and on and this holds true with other games, comic books and movies. Would a Special Forces Lt. charge into battle wearing aerobics spandex with her thong showing?
I'd rather have a cool looking impractical character than a realistic stupid looking character.
And the whole slutty women debate could go on for hours. Kitana, Sonya, Sindel, Li Mei, Frost, Kira and all the others dress slutty in their own individual ways. Some are skankier than others and it's all depends on a person's taste. But who cares? As long as they play good and have good storylines who gives a shit?
I can understand why people would be put off by a character dressing out of character. I don't see Mileena dressing like Ashrah any time soon nor do I see Kitana or Sonya dressing like Nitara or Li Mei, but other than that, I say like the women dress however they want.

While I do agree with some of your points, you cant deny that out of all the females, Sonya is the one that actually dresses the most properly and decent. This has been mentioned in all the posts debating the subject.
She manages to look sexy without showing any skin or exaggerating in her costume. I’m glad the team has kept her like this since Mk1, and I hope they don’t make her dress like the other females.
She is by far the only decent female that fights with her pants on.

You make a good point, sonya is decently dressed. However the use of the word "slut" I really find that degrading to all women, such as the word "bitch". I find it as a major insult. I would never use those words to call some one that and I am a guy. I cant even believe this thread has gone on on this subject, great to read nontheless.
Mileena looks good even though it is a drawing, however we see people on the computer and those are pixelated, so theres really no difference. She looks good, and its cool.

You are right about that, no one should be called a slut just because they wear too little. I mean surely you wouldn't go to a beach and call every woman in a bikini, every man in shorts a slut would you? Of course not, just because a woman wears a bikini doesn't mean she is a slut. First of all, there aren't even any sluts in MK. Mileena may look like a slut, but she isn't. The rest of the women never looked like sluts, in my opinion.

I suppose Sonya dresses more "decent" then some others, but honestly I'd call Ashrah the most "decent."
But I ask again: who cares? Who chooses their female character based on how "decent" they look?
I like Ashrah because I'm good with her and she has a good story. Not because she wears loose fitting pajamas.

And to be honest, with only a very few exceptions, I think the female characters dress fine. I don't like saying Kitana, Sonya, Sindel or some others dress like "sluts" because in my opinion, I don't think they do.

Agreed! Its just like me, I dont use/like Kitana because of her story, awful gameplay and other reasons, but not because she dresses as skanky as the rest.
As for the other dude, don’t worry, , I don’t consider MK females sluts. I used the terms in my previous posts, but explaining how most people referred to them like that, and that its wrong.
