The DK was someone who ruled Outworld before Shao Kahn, they are different guys.

If you wanna say that maybe Kahn is posing as the DK (hence the Deception) I could buy that but saying that they are the same character starts to annoy as much as that Reiko = Kahn and Ermac is in MK1 stuff.

I'm hoping that Kahn is one of the unlockable characters, he's got to have a big role in MKD I mean c'mon the DK wants his realms, also Boon's latest interview said he wanted to bring most people into MKD from MK2 and MK3, i'd put money on him being in the game as a playable character or similai, not an NPC.
