Shao Kahn deserves to die.

I just watched the intro movie to "Deadly Alliance" and I just thought how stupid it was of Shao Kahn to sit alone in a room with a man he put in prison and another man with a reputation of betraying someone.

Shao Kahn kicked Shang Tsung out into the wastelands of the Outworld only to accept a fake alliance from them?

Also if Shao Kahn was the emperor of Outworld woulden't he be under very good protection? And who the hell sits in a dark throne all by himself with no body guards?

Shao Kahn was in a war with Edenia and the Shokan so woulden't he be suspicious of an assasination on his head? Plus he saw Shang Tsung and Quan Chi and he was sitting on his ass on a throne?

For that I think Shao Kahn should stay dead and not be brought back into Mortal Kombat because he had things coming for him. Shao Kahn's memory should live on through other characters but I think his time passed.

Actually, it was very hard to get into Kahns Castel. Shang Tsung had a scroll of some kind sent from the emperor allowing him to enter the room.

Ok so he was arrogant, he's not dead, but perhaps he deserved the pain that was wrought upon him. And don't argue about him being dead because ed officially said in an interview that Shao Kahn survived the assassination so don't even start. If anything it will make him more prudent, ruthless, and pissed off. I think it'll be interesting to see what his response is too this. Love him or hate him he has some serious potential to make the story more interesting in MKD.

I have to agree it was pretty stupid of him not to be suspicious of Shang and Quan. They have never gotten on together and so the both of them walking up to him the way they were should have at least made him raise an eyebrow!

If he is alive, let him come back as a playable character but not a boss or sub boss. If he is dead, leave him that way. I could care less whther he came back or not.

QUAN AND SHANG WILL DIE AT THE HANDS OF THE ALL MIGHTY SHAO KAHN!!! If that is shown at the intro I will seriously be awe struck. Shao Kahn shall return, and a war shall be waged between tyrants, that would be awesome. DK versus SK. I don't care whether or not he was over confident enough to let his guard down to those two, they'll get theirs I can tell, and Shao Kahn will return to show the power he wielded to become emperor in the first place.

Well, it was pretty stupid of him to sit alone in his throne room when Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. Unless..........it was a decoy. I'd hate to keep bringing up old sh!t, but some people think that Reiko was some sort of double for Shao Kahn. What if he was. What if they killed him and not Kahn. How pissed would Kahn be. How much revenge would he want. To what lengths would he go. I'm guessing that MK:D will be rought with deception. Maybe one of them began with the slaying of who was "thought" to be Shao Kahn.
