Shao kahn was never reiko to begin with. And the deadly alliance only knocked him out, i dont think they killed him. We're hinted that kahn will be back.

It would be cool though if we got to play as kahn in deception, perhaps he could be a secret character. It is said that he will be making a brief cameo at the beginning of MKD.

Khan is not reiko dude, and miday no better yet, boon said he will make a minor cameo, in a cutscene or 2.

i hope we see him fight. that would kickass if khan was the mid boss, and was harder then he was in MK2, and then the DK could be even harder then the mid boss.

i think he will return and didnt die, since it was said that EVERY MK character in the game will make an appearance, at least in the konquest mode. maybe he will be a master and teach others to try and follow in his footsteps, to succeed where he failed?

well if thats so then liu kang will make an appearance in konquest aswell

two things,
1)Khan was never Reiko.They showed Reiko in the Konquest T.V. shpw along side Khan.
2)If they do bring him back as a playable character give him some desent moves for a change. No more shadow tackle or shadow knee, plus his hammer shot was cheap.

As for him never dying, we saw evidence of his death. The bloody helmet he wears falls of with his blood stains, and in Reptiles konquest mode we read that when he got to the throne room he saw his master's lifeless body on the floor.

But We haven't seen the last of Kahn. All they showed was his helmet with bloodstains. they never showed what happened

I'd definitely like to see Shao Khan back as a playable character. We saw his bloody helmet, and who knows, Reptile could've been wrong about Khan being dead. Or Khan could come back from the Netherealm etc etc. There are a million ways the creative team could bring him back if they wanted to.

Personally, I would love to see him brought back unmasked, scarred, and a bit smaller. Less majestic than he was when he was a boss character. He could use his sledge hammer as a weapon, so it would no longer have to be "cheap." And yeah, he could definitely use some better moves. Maybe the particle javelin that he used in MK2, a shadow knee to knock the opponent into the air to start combos, the gotcha grab, and some throw moves etc for starters.

So yeah, I'd be totally geeked if he came back.
