Yeah that's right, Shang Tsung had morph abilities in Mortal Kombat 2 so he could turn into anyone and have all of their moves for a limited time.

Whatever intro you read was VERY wrong vejita. No where in the intro does it say kitana and kunglao are dead (kitana died, but it doesn't say so in the intro). Mavado did not kill sonya (It is currently believed that sonya is trapped in Earthrealm), and jax only appears in MK:D konquest mode as an NPC (Jax as a playable character? HA!). Also, The Dragon Kings name is Onaga. His title is The Dragon King. So before you go off on how horrible this game is, at least get your facts straight.

Ok, Zexis, I just downloaded the intro, and yeah Kitana was dead. She got brought back to life by the Onaga and is now a bodyguard of his under his control. Liu also got brought back and his acting as an assassin for onaga because when Tsung died after Raiden blew the palace up, Onaga took Liu's soul. Sonya's bio makes it pretty clear that she is dead, because they refer to her in the past tense, and in the intro, her corpse was on the floor outside the palace of shang tsung, just as Kung Lao's was...what were they doing there? Sleeping? Jax who cares, he's not really an mk character anyway, nobody respects him...OOOOOHH YEAH...That's what he gets
