Should i get MK DA?

So, this is pretty much it:
I have some money i want to spend, and unfortunately, i've never got my hands on a copy of MK Deadly Alliance. I've played the GBA version, but yeah... it's not so much of a great version of the game to judge it upon (not meaning it was not a good version, it was a great port for the GBA, indeed).
So, on the PS2, i have Mortal Kombat Deception and Shaolin Monks. I've thought about getting Armageddon, but at the time, my money needed to be spent in another way. Now that i can buy Deadly Alliance, i'm doubtfull about it, because, having Deception already, is it really worth getting DA?
Talking about the game itself, Hell, i want to play as Frost, and to have Scorpion's best costume, and have Reptile, and Kung Lao, the standard version of Raiden, not to speak about Shang and Quan.
I really want to try out the impalling feature, and i heard that gameplay wise, DA is better than Deception.
Please help.
EDIT: IMO, Deception has some 'clunkyness' atached to it's fighting mechanics, much of the moves have problems connecting with each other, leaving a lack of fluidity in the overall aspect of the gameplay.
Is Deadly Alliance any better? I've read that DA has better graphics and gameplay mechanics than Deception. I just want to know how much of it is true.

Most people will tell you that Deadly Alliance plays a lot better than Deception (including myself, but I hate virtually everything about Deception), and since Deadly Alliance can run for as low as $10 in used game shops, I'd say go for it. Quite possibly easily the best of the three MK fighters from last gen.

Yeah, If you wish to experience what this generation of gaming has, then you should. Good characters, good background design, so yes, that's IMO.
The game plays better than MK:D in some parts but Overall I think that MK:D is better than MK:DA .
MK:DA has alot of things that arent in MK:D OR MK:A like Test Your Might &Test Your Sight .
It also has many great backgrounds (not better than MK:D IMO )
the game is faster than MK:D ,has a better roster and more things to unlock but still MK:D is better IMO .
It is a must buy .

if you have to choose between armageddon and mkda then id get mkda. i thought the characters looked a little to stocky and buff then their normally toned taller appearance, but other than that i also did not like how mkda was all training stuff mostly.

You know... Gameplay aside... I think MKDA is worth owning just for the bonus content. The sheer amount of concept art, production art, and... Well, other art, in that game... Worth spending the $10 - $20 alone for.

I would say "YES" to MKDA, because it is a MK collector's item and not to mention, there are lots of advantages to MKDA compared to MKD and MKA (like TEST YOUR MIGHT for instance). And also it is fairly cheap now, so you can buy that and maybe in the near future get MKA. Go for it...

bumping old topics = very bad

Why don't you read the FAQ yourself?
Do not 'bump' threads in which the most recent reply is more than three months old or the thread is not found on the first two pages of that specific forum; whichever may apply in that forum's case.

It wasn't found on the first two pages and its damn near close to 3 months. There was no reason to bump this sense he already bought the game.

If you really want to lie, make sure you don't get caught. Since the last post on the first page is from August and the guy replied to a post from October it's more than obvious that the thread was on the first page. Moreover, the rules are clear: "more than three months".

Maybe, but there was also no need for your comment on that. Especially when it wasn't even a bump.

MK DA I reckon you should not purchase it. You can't do as much and there is not as many characters. I Rate it 86%.
